Vallejo Model Colors have been formulated with the same permanent pigments used in fine arts; all colors are completely light fast and opaque, (with the exception of the fluorescent and transparent colors, which are semi-opaque). 8 metallic pigments (in an alcohol base) are included in the range, since these give a harder brilliance than water based metallic colors.
