RLM 02 is a color one can use on many occasions while building a Luftwaffe Model. The landing gear bay and the gear itself were considered to be painted in RLM 02 on almost any Luftwaffe design. One reason for using this rather bright color was to be able to identify hydraulic leaking as early as possible
