B-25 Mitchell
The B-25 Mitchell is a twin-engine moderate American bomber (now part of Boeing group) was built by North American Aviation.
She was named after General Billy Mitchell a pioneer of US military aviation. The B-25 was used at each venue of the Second World War and even after the war by the air forces of other nations (which Indonesian Air Force presented the last ones in 1979 out of service). Until the end of production almost 10,000 aircraft were built in several variants.
The B-25H was an improved version of the B-25G, she had a solid nose in two 50th Cal (12.7mm) mitführte M2 machine guns. Another four were housed in the wings. The heavy M4 cannon the B-25G was replaced by a lighter 75mm (2.95inch) T13E1. In total 1000 aircraft of this version were built.
